Queen
Amanda S. Andrews is a devotee of all things royal! With more than 10 years of pageantry, leadership development, visual and performing arts experience, she travels the U.S. empowering others to gain confidence and embrace their regal identities.
Creative
Her first book, The Little Princess Finds Her Crown, is a delightful tale encouraging self-confidence and loving the person you see in the mirror. Other published works include illustrations for Little Maggie Wears a Mask by Margaret Green and In the Eyez of the Child by Harmony and Tianna Smith. Her passion for the arts has helped her land creative roles in several community theater productions including “A Raisin in the Sun” (Scene One Theater) as Beneatha Younger, “Dreamgirls” (Capital City Players) as the loveable Lorrell Robinson, “Beehive” (Capital City Players) as the queen of soul Tina Turner and many more. A playwright, graphic artist, and creative writer, she has served as director of creative arts, dance, and music for organizations and ministries in the Midwest.
Community Leader
Recognizing the need for mentoring and character building among girls, Amanda has partnered with several youth organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and HALO (Helping Art Liberate Orphans), Normandy Schools Collaborative, and Confluence Academy. With the creation of Queen Camp, Inc. (nonprofit), she provides quality service and expertise in the areas of leadership, self-awareness, and interpersonal development.
Her empowerment efforts have been recognized by prominent media outlets including the Jefferson City News Tribune, HER Magazine, St. Louis American, and Fox 2 News of St. Louis. She has been a featured speaker, panelist, emcee and facilitator for conferences and events across the country, including serving as a recurring guest speaker at the HBCU Leadership for Queens Conference held annually in New Orleans, LA.
She also served as Keynote Speaker for the 2018 7th Annual SMART Girls Conference (Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis), 2018 Annual Girlz on Purpose Conference (Project Compassion, NFP), and 2019 Dakota Association for Admission Counseling Annual Conference. She has inspired audiences by speaking on such topics as embracing the real you, building your brand, and discovering beauty in brokenness.
She is a 2018 recipient of the Lincoln University (MO) Young Alumni Honors Award and holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from Lincoln University of Missouri.
