For Such a Time as This

Embracing your regal identity

I asked God to show me my purpose. He showed me a crown. “How is one born with such an assignment,” I wondered. It is a part of my identity. Maybe it’s always been there … attached to me…but the circumstances of my past had to reveal it.

We are living in an age where claiming our “queendom” is a newfound phenomenon. It has become popular and trendy to call ourselves queens, but are we really living it? Our society is saturated with “queen” books, songs, merchandise, and blogs, but is it just a trend? To claim the title, we must live it. It can’t just be something we post about and print on t-shirts. We must embrace our regal identities. But, how do we do that?

First, we must understand where we come from and who we are. We are queens because Christ is the King. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are joint heirs to the Kingdom of God. We are royalty and our Father is The Creator of the universe.

There are practical ways to embrace our regal identities. Queens act differently and have standards that set them apart from others. We cannot claim to be queens while simultaneously living a lifestyle that is not befitting of royalty. We enjoy utilizing crowns to adorn coffee mugs and home decor, but have we truly grasped the reality that being royal is not a trend, it’s a lifestyle? We are members of a royal lineage. We come from regal roots–because we are children of the Most High God. There is no one above Him. We have an above promise over our lives and are destined to fulfill a high calling.

You have come to your royal position for such a time as this.” – Esther 4:14

God places each soul into the world within a specific time frame. Women whose souls were launched into this generation have an innate desire to embrace their royal truth. We want to put on a crown. My spirit was released into this time because God knew there would be millions of women yearning to identify their purpose and identity- women who are desperate to find themselves and develop a sense of belonging. Your rightful place is on a throne and my purpose is to help you find it and never give up your seat for anyone or for any reason.
